Mission

Quiet engineering for noisy systems.

Glomidco specialises in enterprise application integration through message-oriented middleware. The brief, in plain language: keep the data flowing reliably between systems that were never designed to speak to each other.

We are deliberately small and deliberately specialised. The work rewards experience more than headcount — and our clients tell us that is precisely why they keep us around.

Our consultants combine deep knowledge of middleware platforms with a broad working understanding of the surrounding stack: networking, relational databases, operating systems, programming languages, J2EE, ERP, data warehousing — the boring parts that actually decide whether an integration succeeds.

History

A long road, kept on purpose.

Global Middleware Consultancy was founded in September 2000, originally serving a TIBCO real-time market data environment at a large Dutch financial firm. Over the years the work, the technology, and even the legal entity behind the name have changed — but the focus has not.

2000s

Growth across financial, utilities & telecom

2025

New chapter under Glomidco B.V.

Glomidco B.V. operates today under the Global Middleware Consultancy trade name, continuing the same focus: independent middleware consultancy, on the client's terms.

Approach

How we work.

/ 01

Independent

No vendor agenda. We recommend the integration that fits the problem, not the integration that fits the partner deck.

/ 02

Specialised

Middleware is not a side practice — it is the practice. That focus is the reason clients keep coming back.

/ 03

Practical

Architecture matters. So does the runbook at 02:00. We optimise for both, and we document what we do.
